This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.
I know when I go to the store, the firs thing that catches my eye is brand name items. But being on a tight budget, we can't afford to always splurge on the brand name items. That's when it really occurred to me. Is the brand name really any better?
My Answer? NO.
When you look at the ingredients on both the brand name medicines, and the store brand medicines, the active ingredient which is the most important is the SAME!
I have personally used the Walgreens brand Pain Reliever, and I think it works better then Tylenol! Both products have the same active ingredients, but the Walgreens brand is half the price of Tylenol! And what makes them even better is that they are pharmacist recommended, and they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee!
Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products are a great value allowing families and individuals to save money without sacrificing quality and trust. With the rising cost of health care, saving money on over the counter medications can really benefit a family budget. It is an awesome exceptional value!
Walgreens is also outreaching into the community with their Walgreens Way to Well Fund™. The Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ provides free preventative health tests as well as other health services and education to local communities. Some of those services will include preventive health tests through the National League Health and Wellness tour and vouchers redeemable in select stores.

ITA!!! I think "generic" or store brand medicines work just as well or better. I know that name brand Benadryl does nothing for me but the Walgreens Benadryl knocks me completely out. I have a husband who wouldn'tbuy anything generic to save his life and it drives me BONKERS. Thanks for writing this!! I hope other people get some insight into this issue.
There are a few things that our household splurges on (Toilet Paper and Soda!) but for the most part, you wouldn't catch me buying brand name unless I had coupons and a sale that made them cheaper than the generic. I haven't bought brand name pain killers, canned vegetables, cleaning supplies, hygiene products.. you name it, in years. The important factor in my purchases are the ingredient list.
