Matthew Turned 1 Today! Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

We had a fantastic day today. We celebrated Matthew's 1st Birthday with Family and Friends. We celebrated at Papa Gino's versus our home because the amount of people that were going to be there. There ended up being about 20 people, and 20 people in our home would have been very cramped. Jacob's Birthday is in the summer, so it's different since everyone can be spaced out outside, versus the end of January cooped up in the house.

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to our friends and family that joined us today in making this day so special. We Love You All!

Less than a week...

Matthew Joseph will be a year in less than a week. I had a c section scheduled for 1/30/2010 because of all the pregnancy problems I had (gestational diabetes, preterm labor, preclampsia) I was doing two non stress tests and an ultrasound on a weekly basis from 30 weeks on.

However my child decided on January 28th at 8:30pm and after a long day of shopping with my grandmother that he wanted to break my water. Hubby was at work and was shocked when he arrived home that I was getting in the shower! Lol!

We arrived at Anna jaques hospital in Newburyport which is about a half an hour from our home at 10:30. My doctors office said I could take my time since the contractions were not very strong and not close together. About 11pm the contractions were regular and about 3 minutes apart but I wasn't dilating or anything. So there went my dream f having a VBAC...

We had an emergency c-section and Matthew Joseph was born at 12:19am on January 29th, 2010 weighing 9lbs 2.6oz and 21 inches long, at 37 weeks. That is NOT a typo.

I can't believe it has been almost a year since my little man was born!

This time in 2010 I was miserable and cranky! Now I'm sad that in 9 days my baby boy is going to be a year old...where has the time gone?!?!

I Need your opinion!! Matthews First Birthday Invitations!!

So, My little man is turning the big O-N-E on January 29th! I'm excited, and sad at the same time. I'm excited because he's getting to be a big boy, but I'm sad for the same reason. He'll be walking and talking, and running, and everything so soon! It seems like just yesterday he was this beautiful newborn who I met for the first time, man how time flies!

I need some honest opinions...I am Hopefully going to use Tiny Prints for my little mans invitations, but I'm stuck between 2 designs...

This is my 2nd Choice...I like it but it seems kind of dull...

Now this is my my first choice I think, but I dont know if its well...too much at once? theres 12 slots for photos, so i interpreted that to mean that I needed to put a photo one from each month since birth, but what do you think?

I Love Tiny Prints, and I am contacting them about doing a review and/or giveaway for their website. This is where we ordered our Christmas Cards and they came out a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Matthews Birthday, Need some ideas! Come and Contribute!

So, I am starting now to plan for Matthews Birthday event.

Matthew will be 1 year old on January 29th :) I can't believe a year has gone by already!

So, in honor of his birthday, I want to do something awesome!

Let's make this a good one! Please suggest things that you would like to see reviewed and/or as a giveaway but we need to make it reasonable. Also I would like suggestions on a length for it. I was thinking maybe January 20th to February 10th. That would be 21 days, so I would be looking to do 10-15 Reviews and giveaways.

I have contacted a sponser as of now. Yes, I know Only ONE, I am slacking!

But I have contacted a few people about Wilton (for baking things) and can't wait to see how it goes! I will keep you updated!
