I am entering the photo contest over at trendy treehouse. This week's theme is "blue". So, Without further ado, my entry.

Aspire Black and White Portrait Challange
I love taking pictures. My computer has atleast 32572958798 pictures. lol. Well not quite that many but I'm sure you get the point! If my computer was ever to crash, I would just cry. Between the desktop and laptop are the memories of both our children's births and firsts.
When I came across the black and white portrait challange, I just HAD to enter.
This picture was taken in the middle of last fall when we decided to take then 3 year old Jacob apple picking. I was 6 months pregnant with Matthew so I was walking behind the two speedwalkers. This is My husband, and my now 4 year old son Jacob. It is such a great shot, that says so much. The meaning I get is "Dad, I look up to you."
I hope you enjoy the Peacefulness of this photo and the love in this photo as much as I do.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

Rockin Green Review and *Giveaway*
Kim at Rockin Green is such a sweetheart. If you ever have any questions about anything to do with Rockin Green, and laundry, she is always more than happy to help.
When I started cloth diapering, it was all a big whirlwind of confusion with do’s and don’ts.
For example:
DO NOT use regular laundry detergent
DO NOT have a wet pail
DO a cold wash
DO a hot wash
And so on…
Everyone has their own way of washing their diapers. What YOU need to figure out is how, and with what you are going to wash with, and how you are going to store them.
I bought a variety of cloth diapers before I found ones that I actually liked. But, I was worried about all of the brands them having their own and different detergents for them.
But, alas I found Rockin Green! Rockin Green is SAFE on all cloth diapers!! I was ecstatic! So, I started using the Rockin Green. Now, this is my favorite laundry detergent for everything!
THE REVIEW:
I previously used Rockin Green in the past, and was excited to see the RNG message in my inbox when I had contacted about doing a Review and Giveaway on my blog. I was sent 3 samples to try.
1 rage against the raspberries
1 motley clean
1 smashing watermelons.
First I loaded my diapers into the washer, and added 1 scoop Rockin Green.
Here is a short video of my diapers in the washer, washing in Rockin Green…Just look at the clear water going in, and the yucky water coming to the top almost instantly as it starts!
For my diapers, I always wash on hot. I cannot wash on cold personally because to me, I don’t feel they get clean enough. Even with that, sometimes there is detergent residue build up. So I like to do a Rockin Soak twice a week.
I wanted to test the Rockin Green on a definitely well used opponent. My bed sheet. My Bed gets peed on, spit up on, nose wiped on, and ect. With two kids, it happens…
Here are the Rockin Soak instructions:
1. Fill your washer with hot water & 3 Tbsp of Rockin Green along with your diapers or clothing.
2. Let it soak for approximately 30-60 minutes, then wash as usual skipping the soap.
I washed my sheet first in the Normal ALL Free and Clear that I use, and then I did the Rockin Soak…
Just Look at this water!!! This was after 20 minutes! This made me a complete believer! I have now switched to Rockin Green for all our laundry.
Rockin Green offers:
DIFFERENT FORMULAS:
There is a formula for everyone! This depends on the hardness or softness of your water.
• Soft - this formula is designed for those that have sensitive little ones or soft water.
• Classic - this is the original formula, and is great for those with moderate hard water, or just those that are battling with stinkies. Comes in unscented and scented varieties.
• Hard - This formula is designed for the most troubling of water types.
And
SAFE INGREDIANTS:
Rockin’ Green is made of safe, phosphate free ingredients which make it good for the planet and gentler on your little ones. Everything is made with love, and put to the test every single day on my own families’ diapers and laundry. So you know that I expect only the best from everything that I send out the door.

September 11, 2001-September 11, 2010: Nine Years
September 11, 2001:
8:45 a.m. (all times are EDT): A hijacked passenger jet, American Airlines Flight 11 out of Boston, Massachusetts, crashes into the north tower of the World Trade Center, tearing a gaping hole in the building and setting it afire.
9:03 a.m.: A second hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston, crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center and explodes. Both buildings are burning.
9:43 a.m.: American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon, sending up a huge plume of smoke. Evacuation begins immediately.
Credit To: CNN
It is September 11th, 2010. I would like this post to honor all of the people who lost their lives, on this day 9 years ago. It's hard to believe that it has been 9 years already, because it is so clear in my mind like it was yesterday.I was 12 years old, and in Middle school. I remember an announcement saying that all TV's were to be turned off, and all students were to report to their advisorys. That afternoon, our whole school watched everything unfold on the television, and even though we were so far away, up in Wolfeboro, NH, we felt so close. We felt close because we all live in America.I pray that all of our men and women overseas come home safely.

Another Blog, Another Britax B-Ready Stroller up for grabs!
Check out Sugar Pop Ribbons blog for her review and giveaway of a Britax B-Ready Stroller, Valued at $500!
I would love to win this stroller because I have 2 boys as you know. However, Jacob wants to ride in the stroller because he sees Matthew ride in the stroller. However, this no longer occurs! When I go out walking now, i have to borrow a stroller because ours has lived its days out, and is finally in stroller heaven. Its very hard to carry around a 26 lb 7 month old, who is unable to actually hold on to me while I carry him. If he sees something he wants, he leans for it. Usually, whatever is in my other hand gets dropped, and I have lost track of everything that has dropped or been broken because of this. (Oh wait, that would be why I have had to replace my cell phone! I forgot! lol)
This stroller also has an adapter so both kids could ride in it at once. That has to be the best feature of all. I would be so happy and greatful if I was to win this!

I absolutely LOVE Britax! Their Carseats, and strollers, are well worth the money. That is if you have $500 to spend on a stroller. New to Giveaways?! Read This to Solve the Confusion!
My friend Neka is pregnant with her first baby. I sent her the link to my blog so she could enter the giveaways that I have going on. I didn’t realize that unless you have someone tell you how to enter these, then you don’t know how, and it’s confusing!! I should have known that though, because I had to be showed how to enter them!
So here is the low down on how to enter giveaways and contests for items you want.
1. I would suggest setting up a Google account that is ONLY for Giveaways
a. It makes it easier for winning purposes, so it doesn’t get lost in the inbox.
b. Go to BlogSpot and make a blog account, even if u don’t blog, that’s your Google account!
2. Mandatory Enter= Something you need to do before the extra entry opportunity counts
a. If it says “go to the little tykes website and tell me something else you’d like” you would go to little tykes, find something else, then go back to the blog and comment “I would like…..” then you would write your email at the bottom of the comment and click submit.
3. Extra Entries: Extra Entries are additional comments that you can have to enter. Each comment is an entry. For example you comment that you follow via GFC and you do another comment saying you like me of facebook. That is two entries, two different comments.
4. GFC: GFC is Google Friend Connect. Most every blog has a GFC box somewhere on it. To make it simple, my GFC box is on the top Left of my sidebar. You just need to click follow, then you will be asked to login to you Google account (which doesn’t have to be Gmail, it can be yahoo, hotmail, or whatever) then you click follow publicly. And confirm. That’s it! You just got an additional entry.
5. Twitter: if you do not have a twitter account, it would be good to get one, because you can tweet everyday usually for an extra entry. Most blogs will have this, and to make it easier they will make a tweet for you to copy and paste. For example “enter to #win at blahblah for a @Ellaskitchen sample pack. Check out their #giveaway @BreenaElizabeth” the # symbol with a word is a tag. The @ symbol and a name is a person or company. In this case, it would send me an alert you tweeted, and Ella’s kitchen.
6. Facebook: Everyone and their brother, mother, and grandfather have a facebook. This includes companies. Instead of “friend requesting” you like the “like” button and then comment on their wall saying which blog sent you! It’s that simple!
7. Subscribe Via Email: This is usually provided by feed burner. You go to the box on the sidebar and that says subscribe by email, and enter your email. You will need to confirm with the email that gets sent to your inbox.
8. Button: A button is the blogs advertisement. When you are asked to “grab” the button and put it on your sidebar, you find the button which is usually on the sidebar of the blog, and underneath it will be a code in a box. Copy the code and paste it into your blog sidebar. (This only applies if you have a blog!)
9. Blogging: once again, only applies if you have a blog. You need to write a short post describing what you are entering with a link to the blog giveaway, and to the manufacturer or providers site.
That’s about it! If I forgot anything please let me know! And remember each thing is an extra entry. If there is something that looks like +2 that means you get 2 extra entries for completing the steps!

Tommee Tippee Review and *Giveaway*
I had the great Pleasure of trying out a few things from Tommee Tippee:
- Explora Mat
- 9oz Bottle
- 2 Pacifiers
The Pacifiers:
I put both pacifiers on the high chair tray, and let Matthew choose which one he wanted. (Watch this Video it's cute!)
First it was the green one, then the blue one,and then Eventually he picked the green one. This was new for him since he for some reason likes the latex binkeys.
But after a few minutes, he finally thought 'Hey, this is great!' and now I can't get him to let it go.
It is designed better than the latex binkeys, because it is NOT shaped like a thumb!
The Bottle:
The Bottle is great! I Love that it is a 9oz Bottle.
Matthew was a ¾ formula, ¼ breastfed baby. With the amount he eats, I was unable to keep up.
Their bottle was great for the formula time because it truly is "closer to nature." The nipple is made to resemble the shape of the nipple on the breast.
It also has curves that his little hands can hold it well. (When he is not being Lazy, and wanting Mama to hold it that is!)
Explora Mat:
This is the Explora Mat that was sent.
I love the bright color, although I am a little nervous that Matthew will too (Jacob's Favorite Color is Green, so I think Matthews is too!)That being said, he'll try to get it off the tray.
PLUS THIS ONE MATCHES THE HIGHCHAIR! J
We haven't tried it yet because he still hasn't gotten the concept that the spoon goes in the bowl to get the food. He just thinks it appears there!
But, this is how it works…I tried it just for the purpose of reviewing it. I will really try it later with the baby.
It has suction on the bottom so you can keep it on the tray (or what surface you use)
It has suction so it will keep the bowl down.
You can pull on the bowl and it won't come off.
But, when you are ready to take it off, you just pull the tab at the back, and it releases the suction!
Buy it:
You can buy the Tommee Tippee Pacifiers at your local Babies R Us for $5.99. You could buy one Tommee Tippee Bottle at your local Babies R Us for $9.99. You can buy the explora mat at Babies R Us for $6.99
Tommee Tippee has generously offered one of my readers a 2 pack of their Pacifiers, and One 9oz Bottle!
Or you can WIN IT HERE!
Mandatory Entry: You need to go to the Tommee Tippee Website, and tell me one thing that you would like to have other than what is listed in this review.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR EMAIL AT THE BOTTOM OF ALL YOUR ENTRIES!

Meaningful Monday! RAOK!
I slacked a bit this week on "Random" acts of kindness, But we completed one.
RAOK:
Jacob and I this week went through all his books. He actually said "mummy, I dont like this one" for quite a few. We ended up with 10-15 books that he just didnt like, and we took them to the book drop at our local bank. We hope by doing this, they will get to children that do not have books of their own.

Ella's Kitchen Review & *Giveaway*!!
I had the extreme pleasure of being in contact with a wonderful woman named Erika over at Ella’s Kitchen.
About Ella’s Kitchen:
Paul Lindley started Ella's Kitchen because he passionately believed that Ella, along with her generation, should have the opportunity to eat better food and also to discover that healthy food can be fun, tasty and cool. They think it's important to always approach things from a child's point of view. So, they’ve taken simple, natural ingredients that ooze goodness and created foods, and packaging, that should really connect with kids - with flavors, colors, textures and even names that will appeal to all of their senses.
The Review!
They sent me Peaches & Bananas, Strawberries & Apples, Carrots Apples & Parsnips, Broccoli Pears & Peas, Apples & Bananas, Sweet Potatoes Pumpkin Apples & Blueberries, The Red one, and The Yellow one.
I love the baby food fruits; I’m not going to lie, and most of the time, barring the complete gross lookingness of the baby food, I try it before he does.
First we tried Sweet Potatoes, Pumpkin, Apples & Blueberries:
He wasn’t sure what to think…
But he soon, didn’t want the spoon to stop going to his mouth! In the end he found it delicious!
Then we tried “The Yellow One” for dessert. It was Smoothie Fruit with bananas, mangoes, apricots, and apples. (I tried this one- I wish they were portioned bigger for “mom & me desserts! It was that yummy!)
Matthew thought it was yummy too!
You can find out more by going to the Ella’s Kitchen Website. This is where you can also find a local store to purchase them from!
